Redeemer is built upon the foundation of Jesus Christ. We believe that God's Word, the Bible, is inspired and is His complete revelation for the salvation of all people. We believe that God created the world and continues to be active and involved in this world and in the lives of His people. We believe that we are born separated from God because of sin. This sin causes us to be helpless and unable to establish a relationship with Him on our own. However God has shown His Fatherly love for us by sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to be our Savior. Jesus lived the perfect life that we could never live, and died in our place on the cross of Calvary, and paid the price for our sin. Jesus rose from the dead on the Easter morning to give us eternal life. We believe that God has sent His Holy Spirit to work in the hearts of people, first calling us to faith and then equipping us for a life of service to others. The Holy Spirit comes to us through God's Word and gives us the assurance of forgiveness and eternal life through Baptism and the Lord's Supper.
